VOGUE DEC 2011 EDITION – Judge a Cover

VOGUE Australia - Dec 2011

Our Facebook page has not been short of opinions on the December issues of VOGUE from all around the world.  Some of our followers have kindly loaded some images and started their critique! Bravo!

Cultural references and preferences exist and should be celebrated, because fashion and taste should never be cookie cutter!

Anna Winter : “People constantly make the mistake of comparing London with New York, Milan and Paris and that’s not what it’s about. London has its own fashion identity. You come here to find the next Alexander McQueen or John Galliano.”

Here are some of the Facebook members comments: ”UK cover - Colourful and sassy,” “US cover - done to death! More originality please Anna!”, “Russian cover - Worst Dec cover.”,”German cover - She doesn’t look very happy for someone who has just received a substantial necklace for Christmas…buck up”.

We’re excited that Judge a Cover has inspired you to comment. We want more! Do the poll!

What do you think?

  1. That Vogue Australia is beyond gorgeous. The colors, the model, the accessories. It’s all perfection, It’s ‘hippy with money’. I also love the colorful V O G U E across the top. This cover just makes me happy.

  2. That’s really funny. One of our Facebook followers really loathed this cover. I’m not 100% sure about the cover but I love Isabel Lucas.

I love the Vogue Japan. Not because I want to be chauvinistic in supporting Aymeline the beautiful French model who looks great, but I found the cover very fresh with perfect coloring. It makes me happy to be in December!
In the same magazine, l love Solve Sundsbo’s dreamy pictures of the current Burberry face Cara Delevingne.
